HP3D Device Activation

The HP3D is shipped in Flight Mode and should be activated as part of the installation process.

Every time a device is installed, it will need to be Activated or Swiped via the Magnet Swipe as described below. This, in conjunction with the Survey - Swipe guide, will show if the device is configured and working correctly in the field.

Activation with Magnet

Swiping with a strong magnet over the debossed U symbol will trigger 5 instantaneous transmissions from the device over a 15 second period. It will also ‘Activate’ the device to begin transmitting from its configured interval.

Activation with NFC

Activating the NFC unit 5 times with an NFC reader or capable device over the debossed U symbol will trigger 5 instantaneous transmissions from the device over a 15 second period. It will also ‘Activate’ the device to begin transmitting from its configured interval.

Taggle Survey Tool

An installer can trigger a burst of transmissions from the HP3D device using the procedure described above.

The installer can monitor the receptions from these transmissions using the Survey - Swipe section of the Taggle Data Portal.

HP1 Device Activation

The HP1 device is transmitting hourly from when it is manufactured.

 

Activation with Magnet

Swiping a magnet over the debossed Taggle logo will trigger 5 instantaneous transmissions from the device over a 15 second period.

 

 

Taggle Survey Tool

The installer can monitor the receptions from these transmissions using the Taggle Survey Tool
