Swipe Dashboard

The Swipe Dashboard provides the ability to get real-time information and confirmation of reception of data from devices in the field.

 

 

Using the Swipe Dashboard to perform a Swipe Test

Select the Customer

Use the Customer drop-down to select from the list of Customers that your login has access to.

Please note that there will be one option in the dropdown list. If you require access to multiple customer accounts, please see https://taggle.jira.com/wiki/spaces/TKB/pages/6873055250/Access+Authentication+and+Passwords#Accessing-multiple-customer-accounts for details.

 

 

Swipe Events Area

The swipe events area allows you to enter the details of the tag you are swiping to obtain real-time data about reception, meter and tag ID’s and information, signal information and status. The below video shows an example of the process.

 

Performing a Swipe

Once you have selected the customer, enter the Tag number/ID or the Meter Serial number into the relevant section and click ‘Listen’.

 

Swipe the tag as per the Application or Type of the device, for example:

 

 

You are able to add multiple devices to the swipe list without having to refresh the page. The table can then be sorted by using the headings.

Errors, ‘No swipe detected’ or re-swiping a Swipe

In the case of an error, the ‘No swipe detected’ message or to re-swipe the device, please ensure that you first delete the row in the table using the yellow ‘Bin’ icon for the required row.

Once you have deleted the row, you will be able to re-enter the device details and swipe again.

 

Symbols

The 'Symbol' column contains images that show the various statuses of the device you are swiping. These are:

Pending

A swipe request has been initiated but a transmission has not yet been received. Please swipe the device to start transmissions. If no transmission is received with 15 minutes, the Status “Error” below will be displayed.

 

Processing

A swipe request has been initiated, and a transmission has been received. The system is processing the transmission and will shortly provide the requested report.

 

Status “Error”

A swipe report has been received, identifying some form of remediation action. The “Status” section of the relevant line in the swipe report contains the error information and possible action to be taken.

Status “OK”

A satisfactory swipe report has been received. The full details are contained in the relevant line in the swipe report.
