SP3C

SP3C

The SP3C was previously known as the ‘Parakeet’.

Overview

The SP3C is a standard 25mW power Byron radio (LIPD band) tag. It is an extremely versatile device and has been used in a variety of water and environmental sector situations.

It is an upgraded version of the ADC-1 and SP2A tags, with A-cell battery and an improved industrial design.

Taggle’s SP3C pulse-count AMR module is designed to suit all other pulse-output style meters. Sealed and maintenance free, the SP3C also has a 15+ year battery life. The SP3C form factor is one of Taggle’s most widely used products for pulse count applications such as water, gas and electricity meters. The SP2A also monitors consumption continuously and transmits this to the network on an hourly basis, or more frequently if required.

The SP3C is a Generation 3 device, complete with NFC functionality and full AES-128 encrypted communication ability.

The Tag is white in colour.
