Account, Property & Meter Nickname
When the Water Utility has Account mode enabled, you can nickname your accounts, properties and even water meters.
This functionality is particularly helpful when you have large properties (farms etc.) and find renaming accounts a better way to remember them.
When the Account is nicknamed it is displayed to you (the customer) as the primary descriptor in the main account panel.
You can Nickname Accounts and Properties if it is configured and shown as an option in the Operations menu.
Simply select the option to Nickname the account or property from the menu and a pop up screen is displayed allowing you to enter your preferred name and save it.
In order to Nickname a meter you first have to drill down into the Detailed Water Meter view. Do this by selecting the eye icon and then pick the edit icon.
Once a nickname for a meter is saved, the name is displayed underneath the water meter number
