Viewing the Full Swipe Report
When a swipe report has been received from the API, the “View Report” button will become active.
This feature will display the report. The specific data in these reports will be determined by the “Swipe” APIs which are separately defined. The goal however is for there to be minimal requirement for the data provided by the API to require interpretation within the mobile application.
The information displayed within the Swipe Report is as follows:
Swipe Report - The identifier of the swipe report, which would have been first received via the “initiate” process.
Report Result - The result code and an icon to indicate the status. See table at Perform a Swipe / Activate | Swipe Result Icons and Meaning.
Install Advice - The text from the API for the “advice” given to the installer. (Not to be confused with the Advice form).
The following are some examples:
“Results Marginal. Try again, or test a High Power device in this location"
“No transmissions received. Try again, or try another device type”
“Strong signals. Try using an ADC1 or MRC1 tag instead."
AMR No - The radio ID from the AMR
Last Transmit Timestamp - The transmission timestamp used for the swipe
Last Transmit Pulse Counter - The counter returned from the last transmission
Rendered Reading - The reading rendered by Taggle from the transmitted pulse (note that this may be inaccurate due to the possible k-factors for some water meters.)
Swipe Report Received - The timestamp when the swipe report was received by the device.
