Old Unit Section
The Advice will dynamically display a section titled 'Old Unit' if the Meter or AMR change fields are set to one of:
Replace,
Replace with Integrated Meter/AMR,
Reinstall, or
Remove
The “Old Unit” section appears for any change types that impact upon the meter or AMR that is currently installed on the property.
The details of the current unit, including the meter number, AMR and location may be pre-set if you are processing a batch.
Data that is required to complete the Old Unit section is:
Meter No. is the the serial or ID number of the existing meter.
AMR No. is the serial or Radio ID of the existing AMR/tag.
Refer to the NFC Scanning page for details on how to use the NFC Scan option to fill the Meter and AMR Number fields. Use the NFC icon to access the NFC Scan.
Refer to the Instructions for Meter/AMR page for details about the meter or AMR/Tag, including model information. Use the Instructions icon to access the Instructions.
Final Reading (kL) is a number field to add the reading from the existing meter. This is entered in kilolitres and can use a decimal point to show litres. You can use the Readings History icon to access details about previous readings for the meter you have selected. Refer to the Readings History page for details for more information about Historical Readings.
Time Removed can be entered by using the Time icon.
The current time will automatically be selected and can be modified as required in the time picker.
Photo(s) is used to add photographs of the existing unit/s to confirm serial or ID numbers and reads. Use the Photo icon to start the Photo taking and saving process.
If using the Windows version of the FOA, a ‘Photo Instructions’ pop-up will appear with information about taking a photo. Once you have read this, press ‘OK’ to proceed.
The devices camera will activate and you can then take the photo. A photo of the water meter number, the AMR number and the current water meter reading (dials) must be provided. These can be provided over mulitple photos if required, by pressing the Photo icon again and taking another photo.
Once the photo is taken, you can see a number button appear. This can be clicked to view/edit the photo if required. Multiple photos will show beside each other.
Once you have completed all the fields for the Old Unit and taken photos, you are OK to proceed to the New Unit Section .
