09DEC25 - Leak Notifications and Reporting


The theme for this Online Customer Training Session was leaks - understanding the data, notifications and reports.

Before jumping into the training, Ashlynn Davies provided an update on some of the new pressure functionality and visibility within Aqualus Water. This initial update allows utilities to view flow and pressure data together in the meter dashboard, enabling faster response to customer enquiries without sending field crews.

Dan then led a detailed walkthrough of Aqualus Water’s leak detection and reporting functionality. Participants were shown how the leak detection algorithm identifies sustained abnormal usage, how to interpret data correctly by reviewing historical trends, and how to use available reports including leak quantum, summary, and largest leaks.

The session also covered adjusting thresholds for properties with consistently high consumption and notifications that can be sent from the system.

This was followed by a Q&A session.
