Access, Authentication and Passwords
Access
User access to the Taggle Data Portal must be granted by Taggle staff, as there is no self-service signup option available. Please contact a Taggle representative to obtain access to the Data Portal.
Once an account has been created for you, login details will be sent via email from the Auth0 system.
Accessing multiple customer accounts
If your use-case of the Data Portal includes a requirement to be able to access multiple customer accounts, you will be required to have a separate email address and password combination for each account.
To do this, it is recommended to use a ‘plus’ or ‘sub’ email address. This is a feature that allows you to create multiple variations of your main email address by adding a plus sign (+) and any additional text after your username, but before the "@" symbol.
For example, if your email address is john@mycouncil.gov.au, you can create a sub address like john+workarea1@mycouncil.gov.au, john+workarea2@mycouncil.gov.au, and john+otherworkarea@mycouncil.gov.au. All these sub addresses will be delivered to your main email address.
By using a different sub address for each account, you can easily login to the correct customer account for which you require access, reduce confusion as to which account your are accessing and it also increases data integrity and security.
Please contact your manager or Taggle Support if you require additional logins created for multiple accounts.
Authentication
Obtaining access to the Data Portal is via Auth0.
Upon accessing the Data Portal page at
Taggle - Data Portal , you will be presented with the Auth0 login page. Enter your email address and password to access the portal.
Passwords
If not logged in or forgotten password
If you are having problems logging in or have forgotten your password, please use the ‘Don’t remember your password?' option in the authentication form.
If logged in and have access to the system
If you have access and would like to change your password from the Data Portal system, please use the profile section on the right corner of the page.
From the drop-down you will be able to select the ‘Reset Password’ option.
If Reset password is selected it will show a validation message on sending email to account email address for steps to follow on how to reset password.
