How to: Change the Leak Letter Template?
Aqualus Water staff users with full permissions have the ability to change Leak Letter Templates in the Staff Portal.
Log in to your Staff portal and go to:
Main Menu → System Configuration → System Lists → Notification Templates
It is not possible to remove the batch letters once they have been generated. One of the reasons for this is that once you get to the point where you have generated a batch leak letter collection, all users in that batch will not have a notification marked against them under their notifications. This is then later used to restrict only 3 notifications being generated for a user per leak.
If you are just trying to find out what a letter would look like in the end. It is possible to generate letters, but not confirm them (the last step in the generation process).
The steps involved in for changing the Leak Letter Template are:
Downloading the current version of the template
Editing the template in Microsoft Word
Saving the template as a Word 2003 XML file
