PR7 sensor increment test

  1. With a magnet, swipe the tag that’s showing signs of deficiency. Refer to the 'Where to Swipe Taggle Devices' page to find out swipe information on specific tags.

  2. Open the 'Taggle Survey Tool' on a device, and have it open on the “Monitor” Tab

  3. Using a magnet, swipe the ADC1 as shown here: 'Where to Swipe Taggle Devices'

  4. The Taggle serial being analysed will appear on the Survey Tool

     

  5. Take note of the Read/Pulse value in the far right column

  6. Hold down the tamper button underneath the sensor firmly

  7. Rotate a metal object anticlockwise on the sensor to simulate usage for at least 10 rotations (see video)

  8. Run the magnet over the probe to simulate the meter register turning

 

Repeat Step 2

If the tag is working correctly, the read/pulse value will have increased. Confirming that the Taggle device increments as expected.
