How to Calculate Pulse Rate

Step 1: Check pulse factor on the meter.

In the figure, this meter has a factor of 1 (PR7P:1)

Step 2: Check the k-factor on the sensor. This is the second number after the K.

K2 = 100. This output will compensate for reverse flow

   Litres per pulse = (meter K factor) x (PR7 K2 factor)

In the above example (1 x 100) = 100L/pulse
