Search

The search function is available from any page in Aqualus Water. Use it to find properties, meters, and AMRs quickly without navigating through menus.

Quick search

The quick search bar sits in the header at the top of every page. Click it to open the search field, type your search term, and press Enter to run a text-based search.

Clicking outside the search bar without submitting will close it without running a search. To open the full advanced search instead, click the maximise (expand) button in the search control.

Quick search follows a hierarchy of rules to find matches:

  1. Exact matches for an active meter code or AMR number

  2. Exact matches for an assessment code — if results are found here or in step 1, the search stops

  3. Partial matches for an address (street name or suburb)

  4. Partial matches for a customer name

  5. If no matches are found in steps 1–4, exact matches for an inactive or deactivated meter code or AMR number

Note: If your instance is configured with separate meter and register serial numbers, you can search by either the meter number or the register serial number.

Advanced search

Select the expand button in the quick search bar to open the advanced search. This gives you additional filter options and more control over your results.

Press Enter or click Search to run the search. Click Close or Cancel to dismiss the dialog without searching.

Account Type and Water Use Type filters are configurable on request and may not be available in your instance.

Search results

Single result: If the search returns exactly one match, Aqualus Water takes you directly to that property's assessment dashboard, rather than showing a results list.

Multiple results — table view (default): Results appear in a list view on a new page. Select a row to go to that property's dashboard.

Multiple results — map view: Click the map (pin) icon in the search bar to display results as map markers. Single-click a marker to view a summary popup; double-click to go directly to the assessment dashboard. Click Select in the popup to navigate to the assessment, or click the AMR number to go to the meter/AMR dashboard.
