The purpose of this guide is to ensure successful installation of Taggle SP2A tag(s)
ABB Guide: https://library.e.abb.com/public/29e9709a43c1dfb3c1257b090058683d/IM_MM-SF_4.pdf
Required:
1 x Taggle SP2A (2x if you require reverse flow as well)
Instructions for Forward Flow only meters:
After the face of the Magmaster is removed, it will expose the internal circuitry.
Find the terminal block identified by F OUT A & PLS0V
Feed the SP2A cable through a cable gland at the bottom of the Magmaster
Wire in the Red (count) wire into the F OUT A position in the terminal block
Wire in the Blue (ground) wire into the PSD0V position in the terminal block
Trim back and insulate the Yellow and Black cables so they cannot touch each other or ground.
Reinstall the Magmaster cover
If your Magmaster is for forward & reverse flow:
Take your second SP2A and feed the cable through a cable gland underneath
Wire in the Red (count) wire into the F OUT B position in the terminal block
Wire in the Blue (ground) wire into the PSD0V position in the terminal block
Trim back and insulate the Yellow and Black cables so they cannot touch each other or ground.
Clearly mark the reverse flow SP2A to identify it as the reverse flow transmitter

The installer will need to navigate through the ABB Menu to correctly set the Pulse Rate to either 1KL or 10KL depending on available options.
See the below quick reference guide on how to navigate the menu to the “OUTPUT PULSE” section using the Magmaster controls.
